Sun V Set is the musical project of Linnea Morgan, a Richmond–based singer-songwriter and musical creative. Their body of work ranges from solo acoustic to chamber-folk-rock collaboratives, and from stripped-down intimacy to lush, maximalist production. “Another Way” follows Sun V Set’s debut album “Curious Wave”, released in 2023 and a nominee of the Newlin Music Prize.

Raised on classical violin and later evolving into a self-taught DIY singer-songwriter, Morgan brings a wide musical foundation to her art. Morgan's perspective is highly influenced by her own pull towards nature-based spirituality and animism. Guided by spiritual curiosity and shaped by years of musical exploration, she began writing songs as a way to make sense of her journey and hone her creative instincts. Over time, that personal practice has grown into a distinct creative voice — balancing technical sensitivity with an intimate indie-folk perspective that feels both grounded and expansive.

What started as an indie-rock trio with drummer Ethan Johnstone and bassist Ethan Kuhn has evolved into a sprawling collective of collaborators behind Morgan's musical vision and leadership. Other collaborators for live settings and recording projects include Tristan Brennis on clarinet and Brandon Simmons on flute.
